Chernomorskaya zdravnitsa

November, 12, 1917. The predecessor of "Chernomorskaya zdravnitsa" - "Sochinsky proletary" newspaper started. This is an official birthday of our publication.

Since that the newspaper has changed its name several times until in 1937 it was named "Krasnoe znamya" (Red Banner).

In
1949 the newspaper got a spreadsheet format of 4 pages.

In spring
1954 the first Sochi bike-racing for our newspaper's cup took place. Among those who won this competition were: the Olympic champion Viktor Kapitonov, wellknown Russian sportsmen - Jury Melikhov, Gainan Sakhudzhin, Vadim Tonkov and others.

August, 22, 1962 the publication was named "Chernomorskaya zdravnitsa" and got the regional status.

January , 1978. "Chernomorskaya zdravnitsa" was awarded with the "Sign of Honour" state order.

In
1991 the editorial staff was the first of russian regional mass-media to launch the desktop editorial system that totally changed the technological process of newspaper production.

Since
January , 20, 1992 "Chernomorskaya zdravnitsa" has become the independent publication produced by the joint-stock venture. Journalists themselves gained to be owners of their newspaper.

In
1995 all computers in the Editorial house were replaced by Macintoshes machines that allowed to produce colour printing, book production etc.

In
1997 the Vacation House for Journalists was constructed in the center of Sochi. This project was financed by The Publishing House "Chernomorskaya zdravnitsa". Now it aceomodates our editorial houses.

In
May, 1998 "Chernomorskaya zdravnitsa" has established its own virtual Web-server in the Internet (www.chz.sochi.ru).

In
2008 the “Chernomorskaya zdravnitsa” edition celebrated its 90th birthday.


Resort newspaper

August, 22, 1990 the mass-media minister of Russia signed the registration certificate # 6 of a new publication - "Resort newspaper". It gave start to a truly independent newspaper established by a group oh journalists. The 28th August brought to light the pilot issue of "Resort newspaper".

In
1991 the publication had 4 issues in a year. Since 1992 "KG" has become a monthly publication and was registered in All-Russia mass-media catalogue. In that year the staff established a joint-stock venture "Resort newspaper" to provide publishing of the newspaper. "KG" inherits the advertising supplement "Resort weekly" that previously referred to "Chernomorskaya zdravnitsa" newspaper.

In
1996 the editorials started a new project. All newspapers of Russian resort regions agreed to be syndicated. Among the first participants of the project were the Black Sea area municipal newspapers - "Anapskoye Chernomorye" (Anapa-city), "Priboy" (Gelendzhik-city), "Tuapsinskiye vesty" (Tuapse-city).

Since
April, 1998 "Resort newspaper" has syndicated one of the oldest South Russia publication "Kavkazskaya zdravnitsa" (Pyatigorsk-city).


Femina

In
December, 1992 the first issue of the first full-coloured women's regional newspaper "Femina" was printed in Sochi. Four times in a year 8-sheets tabloid was published in those days.

Since
January, 1995 ã the newspaper has become a monthly publication.

In
May, 1995 "Femina" managed to make public a set of the unique clothes designed by famous Versace in representation of world top-models Claudia Shiffer and Nadya Auerman. Russian readers took this issue as a sensation.

"Femina" is a permanent participant to St.Petersburg festival "TV, radio and press - about women and for women". Every year the newspaper presents guests and participants of "Kinotavr" film-festival and All-Russia mode festival "Velvet seasons in Sochi".

Since
November, 1997 the newspaper grew in a volume. Now "Femina" is a full-coloured magazine (32-36 pages).
